Our friends and family in Eastern Kentucky have experienced devastating flooding just this past week. Several people have lost their homes, businesses, and even their lives. As fellow Kentuckians and brothers and sisters in Christ, we are hoping to be a beacon of light for them during this difficult season. King City Church will be sending serve teams down on Friday February 28th and Saturday March 15th in order to aid in cleanup, and to serve in any way that is needed.

We are planning to leave in the early morning (around 7am) each day, work throughout the day, and return later that same night. Sack lunches and drinks will be provided. Volunteers who want to spend the night at our partner church can do so if they would like. Food is available, and showers are nearby.

We look forward to shining the light of Christ as we head to serve our brothers and sisters in Pikeville, Ky.
